About Old Beach Farmers Market

Old Beach Farmers Market has been part of Virginia Beach since 2008, bringing together local farmers, food producers, and artisans each Saturday morning. Now located at 611 18th Street in the ViBe Creative District, the market continues its mission of supporting family farms, watermen, and Virginia wineries while offering the community a place to shop fresh and local. Operated entirely by volunteers as an independent 501(c)(6) organization, Old Beach Farmers Market is more than a place to buy food—it is a tradition of community, sustainability, and local pride.

Old Beach Farmer’s Market is a fantastic open-air market filled with tons of local delights. Every visit is an adventure — from amazing Chimi Churri and NaNa Sauce (good on just about anything!) to Life is Gouda cheese, which we grab every time. There’s also local kombucha, Krid’s Crumbs sourdough bread, and delicious treats from Staz-a-licious Bakery. The market can get busy, but it’s easy to navigate, and every vendor I’ve purchased from takes both cash and card (just note that some may add a small service fee for card). Pro tip: bring a reusable collapsible bag — it’s the perfect way to carry everything until it gets too heavy (that’s usually when we know it’s time to stop shopping, ha!). A great spot to support local and discover something new every time!

This is one of my favorite things to do on Saturdays! One of my favorite booths is Rome With Love - they have the BEST olive & feta bread. The cheddar jalapeño pretzels from Staz-a-licious Bakery are SO good for sandwiches. You won’t be disappointed by anything from either of these two places. I also bought a gorgeous crystal (rainbow fluorite) from a very nice seller in the grassy area.

Love going to the Old Beach Farmer's Market. They always have everything I need from veggies, fruits, breads, jams, meats, seafood and seasonings. Great atmosphere now that it's on 18th street. This is my Saturday morning shopping for veggies, fruit and anything else you can think of. Thry also have a great juice vendor and ice cream ❤️❤️❤️❤️
